Timetables
The Saturday Programme takes place on Saturdays during our term time. Students must be available to attend at any time during the Saturday Programme day (between 9.00am and 2.00pm for CYMH and ICS! or between 12.00pm and 5.00pm for JJJA), however, most students do not attend for the whole day. A typical programme ranges from 1 – 2 hours for a new student to as much as 4+ hours for more advanced students.
The timetable is very complex and individual requests for specific times unfortunately cannot be taken into account. Students’ timetables may vary significantly from year to year, and may change slightly from term to term.
In rare circumstances, lessons might coincide with ensemble sessions. Where possible, timetables will be changed so that no student will miss more than one term of a given ensemble or two students will be placed on a rotating lesson basis so alternate weeks are missed.
Your individual timetable is always live on MyMusicStaff and has an option to be imported into your calendar app using the SYNC CALENDAR function.
Timetable Changes
Timetables are set for the term, though every now and then the office may contact you to make you aware of a change.
On the last day of term we hold performances and this comes with a totally different timetable. Your schedule for the final day of term will be given at least 2 weeks in advance.
REMEMBER
It is always the parent or guardian’s responsibility to make sure that their child knows where and when their lessons and sessions are. Missed lessons due to arriving at the wrong time cannot be made up.
Performances
Performances take place usually on the last day of term. These are usually different timetables to usual so please ensure you are available for the whole day.
