PAST PERFORMANCES Scroll through our extraordinary Past Performances from here… Odyssean Variations | 2025 In 2025 we celebrated our 30th anniversary with a performance of British composer Matthew King's Odyssean Variations, commissioned by us in 2008 for internationally acclaimed virtuoso cellist Natalie Clein, who joined us again to perform alongside the Saturday Programme’s CYMH orchestra and I Can Sing! choir. > View We'll Meet Again | 2025 In celebration of both our 30th Anniversary and in commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of VE Day, I Can Sing! students We’ll Meet Again, a compilation of several HMDT Music commissions about different aspects of the Second World War. > View The World Was All Before Them | 2023 The World Was All Before Them, commissioned by Jubilee Primary School and premiered in 2004 aimed to create an artistic celebration of the richness and contribution derived from the arrival of new peoples in the school’s local area’ by telling the stories of how the students’ parents came to Hackney. > View The Platinum Jubilee | 2022 I Can Sing! celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with a show created to reflect important events that helped define her reign each decade since 1952. > View Much Ado About Shakespeare | 2024 In 2024, showcasing HMDT Music’s methodology of using the arts across all learning, we created a new show Much Ado About Shakespeare, for I Can Sing!, to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the first Folio. > View
